White House Replica Sells Before Election
Just days before the presidential election, a White House replica in Hillsborough, California has sold for $23 million. Known as the Western White House, the 11-bedroom 24,400-square-foot home near San Francisco was built in the 1870s, but was transformed into a White House look-a-like in the 1930s by a member of the wealthy Hearst family. The real White House has 132 rooms and 55,000 square feet.
