Judge Shoots Down Compass’s Private Listings Biz
A New York judge has rejected a request by real estate behemoth Compass to stop Zillow from banning private home listings on its site. The practice, also known as “pocket listings,” enables homeowners and real estate agents to circumvent Zillow’s policy that all listings on their site must be shared on a multiple listing service.
