Based on a report from the 2024 American Community Survey, the average household income in the Westchester County suburb of Scarsdale, New York was $612,591, making it the wealthiest suburb in the United States. In second place, with an average household income of $439,594, is West University Place, a suburb of Houston. Eight of the 10 wealthiest US suburbs are in three states: California, New York and Texas.
