Sagamore Farms: Where Native Dancer Is Buried
One of the world’s historic thoroughbred horse-breeding farms is for sale at $18.5 million. Sagamore Farms in Maryland dates back to the 1800s with 500 acres and an iconic 16,000-square-foot main home, three barns, a race track and multiple paddocks. Sagamore Farms has produced many racing champions, including Discovery and Native Dancer. The current owners stopped the horse breeding part of the operation in 2020 to concentrate on their Sagamore Spirit whiskey brand. Sagamore Farms is listed with Icon Global.
