It’s not exactly a holdup, but the vacant lot where Al Capone’s Miami Beach mansion once stood has sold for $21 million, a profit of $5.5 million in just six years. The beachfront property on Biscayne Bay, including Capone’s home, sold in 2021 for $15.5 million. The mansion was demolished in 2023.
