Best & Worst Towns For First-Time Home Buyers
According to the personal-finance website WalletHub, the best city for first-time home buyers is Palm Bay, Florida, and the worst town for first-time home buyers is Berkeley, California. The website looked at 22 key metrics in 300 cities, which included housing affordability, real-estate tax rates and property-crime rates. Flint, Michigan had the most affordable housing, and Honolulu has the lowest property tax rates.
