Bing Crosby’s San Francisco Mansion
A French chateau-style San Francisco home that Bing Crosby bought for $175,000 in the 1960s and is still in the Crosby family is for sale at $40 million. Built sometime in the 1920s, the 11-bedroom home with almost 14,000 square feet and over five acres is located in the wealthy San Francisco suburb of Hillsborough. It was still the residence of Bing’s widow, Kathryn Crosby, who died last year. Bing died in 1977. The listing is held by Jennifer Gilson of Golden Gate Sotheby’s International Realty.
