Frank Gehry’s Hillcrest Apartments

Frank Gehry is one of the world’s most famous architects. His unique style is seen in his most famous designs, including the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and the Luis Vuitton Foundation in Paris. One of his earliest works, the Hillcrest Apartments in Santa Monica’s Ocean Park neighborhood, is now for sale. Completed in 1962, the building has hints of the later Gehry style such as the open, modern aesthetic. The six-unit building is listed for $3.5 million with Tim Bryne from Compass.
