Frank Lloyd Wright’s Final Home
Riverrock is a new home in Willoughby Hills, Ohio, based on Frank Lloyd Wright’s original Usonian blueprints. Known as Project #5909, Wright designed the home for Louis Penfield, who already owned a Wright Usonian on the property; Riverrock was going to be built as a second house on the property. Penfield received the plans the same week of Wright’s funeral in 1959, and the house was not actually built until 2023. The new home will be used as a rental.
