Kanye West’s Former Malibu Home Lists

Kanye West’s former Malibu home, originally designed by renowned architect Tadao Ando, has hit the market for $39 million. Kanye purchased the beachfront home in 2021 for $57.3 million but later gutted its interior and removed essential features like windows and electricity.

In August 2024, West sold the mansion to Steven Belmont for $21 million, incurring a substantial loss. Belmont initiated plans to restore the property, which is still underway, but Belmont said it would be better for his investors to sell it now instead of waiting until the home is fully restored in early 2026, when the asking price will increase to between $55 and $65 million.
