Starting with Joseph Kennedy, JFK’s father, the family has owned a long list of historic and expensive real estate. In addition to the family’s historic compound in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, that Joseph bought in 1928; a home in Brookline, Massachusetts, where JFK was born in 1917; a Palm Beach mansion known as the “Winter White House” during JFK’s presidency; and a Georgetown home where Jackie Kennedy moved after her husband was assassinated.
