Kentucky’s Home of the Future
In 1982, Floyd Poore saw and then purchased a geodesic dome-shaped home that was featured at the Knoxville, Tennessee World’s Fair as the “home of the future.” He had the home dismantled and rebuilt on his golf course-view property in Florence, Kentucky. For the first time since then, the 3,332-square-foot home home is for sale, listed at $399,000.
