King of Hollywood’s Santa Monica Home
A Santa Monica home built in 1922 for Douglas Fairbanks is for sale at $15.7 million. Known as “the King of Hollywood,” Fairbanks was one of the most famous actors of the silent-film era, starring in films including Zorro, Robin Hood, and The Iron Mask. Fairbanks was also a co-founder of United Artists and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts. The beachfront home includes four bedrooms and almost 4,000 square feet.
