Taylor’s career began in the 1930s, starring in movies such as Camille and Bataan, and lasted into the 1960s, when he had his own hit TV show, The Detectives, starring Robert Taylor. Stanwyck had a similar history, starring in over 80 films from the 1930s to the ‘50s before turning to television in the 1960s, including The Barbara Stanwyck Show and The Big Valley.
